The untold story of Anglo-American space company Virgin Orbit's failed attempt to put Britain into the space race. In September 2022, Virgin Orbit, led by Sir Richard Branson, brought their innovative rocket system to Cornwall. Cameras go behind the scenes at Britain's first ever spaceport. The everyday dangers and challenges facing the team are revealed, from damaged rockets to power outages, hazardous tests and the excitement of launch night when, on 9 January 2023, the first launch ended in disaster.
